Big Al’s 200 - March 31, 2026

This event features a 200-mile race and a 100-mile race, both set in Franklin, TN. The 200-miler has an elevation gain of 55,000ft and runners have 120 hours to complete it. The 100-miler has an elevation gain of 27,000ft and runners have 48-72 hours. The race utilizes a 2-mile loop with single-track trails, black slate springs, and ridge lines. Runners are self-supported but aid stations will provide breakfast, dinner, electrolytes, broth, and soups. Water jugs will be available throughout the event. Runners may leave and return to the race. Finishers of the 200-mile race receive a special jacket and buckles, while 100-milers receive buckles. The event is hosted on private land and emphasizes a unique experience in the woods. There are no refunds or deferrals. Pets are strictly prohibited.

  • 200 Miler: Starts Tuesday, March 31, 2026 @ 10:00 AM CT. 120 hours to complete.
  • 100 Miler: Starts Friday, March 31, 2026 @ 10:00 AM CT (official start). Early start available Thursday @ 10 am CT (not eligible for podium). 48-72 hours to complete.
  • Location: 9600 Big East Fork Rd, Franklin, TN.
  • Terrain: 2-mile loop, mostly single track, with significant elevation gain.
  • Support: Self-supported with aid stations providing meals and electrolytes.
  • Rules: No pets. No refunds or deferrals.
