About the Event
Big Scrub 150
Do you want to be a part of something “BIG”? The Big Scrub 150 is an invitation-only, self-supported, virtual destination race designed to build an exclusive community of Ultra Runners. This is a BIG race, and the typical runner will take three days and two nights to complete it.
Course: This race is held entirely on the Florida National Scenic Trail, traversing the Big Scrub of the Ocala National Forest. Runners begin at the Clearwater Lake Recreation Area Trailhead and finish at the Withlacoochee State Trail-Gulf Junction Trailhead in Dunnellon, Florida.
Rules: You have the entire calendar year (Jan-Dec) to begin. If you don't finish (DNF), you have six months for a second attempt (requires re-registration). Runners may start and finish whenever they want, but the race must be completed in one continuous attempt. A GPX file with the course route will be provided. Runners must provide their own crew, pacers, and support. A live tracker is required.
Awards: A custom belt buckle for finishers.
Refund Policy: No refunds issued.
