Location: Black Canyon National Recreation Trail, Mayer, AZ

Events: 100K and 50K

Black Canyon Echo Challenge

Participate in the Echo Challenge by running both the 100K and 50K over two consecutive days. Finishers will receive separate timing and scoring for each event, with a combined time for those completing both races.

Qualifiers

The 100K is a qualifier for the Western States 100. Top finishers in the race will earn automatic entry into the 2024 event.

World Trail Majors

The Black Canyon 100K is part of the World Trail Majors, connecting runners and communities globally.

Registration

Registration closes on February 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM MT. Fees are $331.96 for the 100K and $207.37 for the 50K (prices increase after July 14).
