Bold Coast Bash

The Bold Coast Bash is a trail running event featuring a challenging 50K ultramarathon and a 10.5-mile fun run. The race takes place on the stunning cliffs of the Bold Coast in Cutler, Maine. Registration is capped due to the fragility of the ecosystems. The 50K course is a figure 8 with a short middle section run twice on each lap. Mandatory gear is checked at the start of each lap. There is only one aid station at the start/finish area. The course can be extremely slippery, so runners should be prepared for challenging conditions. Registration: Registration is open, but spots are filling quickly. There is a waitlist available if the event is sold out. The price is $45.00 per race.

Important Information:

• Time Limits: 6.5 hours for the first two laps of the 50K, 10.5 hours total course time limit.
• Mandatory Equipment: Windproof or waterproof jacket, warm mid layer, warm head covering, warm gloves, foil blanket, whistle, at least 200 calories of instant energy, headlamp (for the third lap of the 50K).
• Aid Stations: Only one aid station at the start/finish area.
• Refunds/Deferrals: No refunds are offered. Deferrals are allowed until October 9th at 11:59 pm for 75% of the registration fee.
