"Boo" Milby Memory 5k Run/Walk

Event Information

The "Boo" Milby Memory 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the VFW Post, located at 2325 Donahue St, LaSalle, IL 61301.

Start Time: 8:00 AM CDT

Check In: 6:45 AM

Registration Fees:

• $30 before August 15th
• $35 on Race Day
• $5 discount available for early registration

Participants can register online through August 16th, until 8:00 AM. There will also be paper registration available on race day. Please note, strollers are welcome, and walkers are encouraged. However, no headphones are allowed during the race.

Course Details

The course is a 5k run (approximately 3.1 miles) with a self-service water station available. All participants will receive post-race results, and those who opted in during registration will receive text updates on their finish times.

Age Groups & Awards

Awards will be given for multiple age groups in accordance with the Starved Rock Circuit 2025:

• Male/Female categories: 9 and under, 10-12, 13-16, 17-19, and continuing through to 75+
