Bridge 2 Bridge Fun Run + Concert

Lace up your running shoes and get your dancing feet ready for an unforgettable evening along the riverfront with friends, family, and neighbors as you bid farewell to summer. Head to the Yards Park Boardwalk as early as 5:30 pm to grab some running swag and join a casual 5K fun run starting at 6:00 pm, perfect for all ages and led by the experts at Pacers Running. Enjoy a scenic jog along the Anacostia River, cross the iconic Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge, through Anacostia Park, and make your way back across the 11th Street Bridge to Yards Park for a BONUS Friday Night Concert featuring an encore performance at 7 pm complete with an outdoor bar and delicious food available from surrounding bars and restaurants. Reward yourself post-run with a FREE refreshing drink courtesy of the Capitol Riverfront BID (first 100 check-ins; participants must check in for the run by 6:10 pm and complete it to receive their reward).
