Broken Brain Backyard Ultra & Citizen's Race

Welcome to the Broken Brain Backyard Ultra and Citizens Race! We invite you to enjoy a unique running experience while contributing to a noble cause. The event will take place on June 7, 2025, at Loudy Simpson Park in Craig, CO.

Event Details

Backyard Ultra:

• Start Time: 8:00 AM MST
• Distance: 4.167 miles per hour until one runner remains

Citizen's Race:

• Start Time: 8:15 AM MST
• Distance: 4.167 miles, complete at your own pace

This race will be capped at 75 entrants for the ultra, with no cap for the Citizen's race. All proceeds will go directly to local charities focused on fighting Parkinson’s, ALS, and Alzheimer’s.

Awards & Prizes

Participants in the Backyard Ultra will receive a quality water bottle and running cap, and finishers of 2 or more laps will receive a finisher's mug. The Citizen’s race participants will also receive a quality water bottle and running cap, with additional entries into a drawing for merchandise.

• Backyard Ultra: $125
• Citizen's 4 Miler: $35 (Race day $45)
