Location: Pandapas Pond Upper Parking Lot (Pandapas Pond Day Use Area), 1470 S Main St Blacksburg VA US - 24060

Description: Come join the fun at the 2025 Brush Mountain Breakdown presented by Roots Realty Group, the 9th event of the RunAbout Sports 2025 Race Series! The 12 miler, 7 miler and 5K run are all on trails within the Pandapas Pond trail system - which is part of the Jefferson National Forest. The run features a challenging course with many hills and some creek crossings (water less than knee deep). There are aid stations along the course for the 7 and 12 mile routes.

Events:

• 12 Mile Trail Race: $45, 9:30AM EDT
• 7 Mile Trail Race: $40, 9:30AM EDT
• 5K Trail Race: $30, 9:00AM EDT

Registration Opens: September 30, 2025 at 5:47pm EDT

Packet Pickup:

• RunAbout Sports - 4pm to 7pm (October 24)
• Race Day - 8:30 AM (October 25) at Pandapas Pond upper parking lot

Awards: Finisher medals, overall awards for top three men and women in each race, age group awards for 12-mile and 7-mile races.

Course Details: All races start and end at the upper parking lot. Primarily single-track trails with some fire roads. The 5K route does not include an aid station. The 7 mile route has an aid station at 2.5 miles. The 12 mile route has aid stations at 2.5, 4.5, 5.8, and 9 miles.
