BURCS Treadmill Marathon & 50K

Event Overview

Winter in New England can be tough for runners, but the BURCS Treadmill Marathon and 50K is here to help you stay motivated and active! From January 1 to January 31, 2026, participants can register to complete their distances on a treadmill or outdoors with the Frozen Folly 50K.

How It Works

Participants can select any 36-hour period in January to log their distances. Proof of distance is required, so be ready to take photos during your run. Participants must complete their marathon (26.2 miles) or 50K (31.07 miles) on a treadmill—no exceptions!

Registration Details

Register for individual races or all options available. Costs are structured based on early registration and regular rates. The event also includes opportunities for discounts and charitable donations to local foundations like the AYJ Fund.

• 2 x 50K - $66.25
• 50K - $39.68
• Frozen Folly 50K - $39.68
• Marathon - $39.68

Important Notes

All miles must be logged on a treadmill, and participants must adhere to the registration rules, including deadlines for uploading times and distances. The fastest male and female runners in both events will win entries into next year's event.
