On-Site Registration & Packet Pickup:

• Friday, July 24, 2026: Marathon Sports, Providence Place, RI. Packet pickup: Noon - 6:00 PM. Entry fees: $38 (5K/Walk), $20 (Kids Run).
• Saturday, Race Day, July 25, 2026: From 7:45 AM until the 5K race start. Entry fees: $38 (5K/Walk), $20 (Kids Run).

Mission Statement:

The Cabo Verdean 5K was founded to support, uplift, and provide resources to individuals with breast cancer, their caregivers, families, and communities across Cabo Verde Islands. Our goal is to provide medical assistance, donations, equipment and increase awareness, reduce stigma associated with breast cancer; through education, promoting healthy living, early detection, and annual screening. Our vision is to close the gap in breast cancer care In Cabo Verde Island and open facilities in each Island for breast cancer treatment.

Awards:

Awards will be given to overall winners (Men/Women), age group winners, and law enforcement categories. Team awards will also be presented.
