About the Event
Welcome to the Capital Backyard Ultra! This event is designed for a small group of dedicated runners aiming to achieve their backyard goals. With a maximum capacity of 60 runners, our experienced staff and volunteers will support you every step of the way.
Event Details
The Capital Backyard Ultra will take place at Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area in Lorton, Virginia. The race begins at 8 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, and continues until only one runner remains.
Race Format
Participants will run a 4.167-mile loop that starts on the hour, every hour. Runners must complete each loop to continue. The last runner standing will be declared the winner.
Entry Information
Entry is rolling, with priority given to runners with a 100-mile finish or previous participants. Registration will close once we reach capacity.
