Capitol Peak 50 Mile Ultra and 25K Mini

Race Details

This year, we are excited to present a 50 mile ultra and a 25 km (~16 mile) trail race. The Capitol Peak races have been a tradition in Capitol Forest for 17 years.

• 50 Miler Start Time: 6 AM
• 25K Start Time: 9 AM
• Cut-Off Time: 8 PM for the 50-mile race

Please note that there will be no early or late starts allowed. All participants must adhere to the scheduled times for their respective races.

Each runner must bring a signed DNR waiver to check-in on race day. Additionally, a Discovery Pass is needed for parking within the state forest. Make sure to display it clearly on your vehicle's windshield to avoid fines.

Course Description

Both races will start and finish at Falls Creek Trailhead, featuring some of the most beautiful and rugged singletrack trails. Expect a challenging course that may include weather-related changes, but promises incredible views!

Post Race Food

Post-race food is included in your registration, with Vic's Pizza ready to serve delicious meals!

Camping Info

Camping is available at Falls Creek Campground. No registration is needed for camping, but a Discovery Pass is required.
