Carson Valley Trails Run the Valley 5k, 10k and Family 2k

Join the fun for the annual Carson Valley Trails Association Run the Valley Trail 5k and Family 2k run in beautiful Carson Valley, Nevada and support your local trails! This year features a new 10k route.

Course Info

Experience the newest CVTA trail networks! Tech shirts are provided for all 5k and 10k finishers.

• 10k run/walk (6 miles): Starts at James Lee Park with a .25-mile single-track climb, exploring trails of the Jacks Valley and James Lee Loops.
• 5k run/walk (3.55 miles): Starts at James Lee Park with a .25-mile single-track climb, exploring trails of the James Lee Loops.
• 2k family run/walk: Starts at James Lee Park, utilizing the crushed granite path along the Indian Hills fitness course, then circling back on single-track trails. (All dirt; off-road strollers and leashed dogs welcome). Free for all participants; children under 12 receive a finisher medal.

Feeling extra adventurous? Run the 10k at 8am or the 5k at 8:30am, then join your family for the 2k at 9:30am.

Schedule & Packet Pick Up

• 7:00-8:15am: Race Bib Pick Up - James Lee Memorial Park
• 8:00am: 10k Begins
• 8:30am: 5k Begins
• 9:30am: 2k Begins
