Caveman Open: Community/Alumni Cross Country 5k and Kids 1 mile Fun Run

This race is an extension of the Caveman Open Cross Country Meet! This will take place on the Cave City Cross Country Course. The Official Junior High and Senior High Races will take place the following Tuesday, October 7th starting at 3pm. We will have 2 Races. The Kids 1 mile Fun Run for ages 12 and under will begin at 4:00pm with the Community/Alumni 5k (for all ages) beginning at 4:30pm.

BENEFICIARY This race will support the Cave City High School Cross Country and Track and Field Teams.

LOCATION The race is held on the Caveman Open Cross Country Course. Parking is available by the High School Gym and you can either ride the shuttle bus over or walk back to the course. The road to the course is right by Dale's Garage. Address to Cross Country Course Road: 820 N. Main St. Cave City, AR 72521; High School/General Parking: 620 N. Main St. Cave City AR

ENTRY FEES Community/Alumni 5k is $25; The Kids 1 Mile Fun Run is $15 race fee includes race entry, T-shirt (for racers registered by September 15 after which they will be first come; first serve until gone), Both Races include a Popsicle, Water and Snacks! Race day registration will begin at 3:00 PM. Make checks payable to: Cave City Cross Country. Community/Alumni 5k $30 and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run $20; Day of Race Registration is available (Cash or Check ONLY for day race registration).

T-SHIRTS All runners pre-registered by September 15 will receive a T-shirt. After September 15 T-shirts will be handed out until they run out on a first come, first serve at the registration tent for anyone who signs up after July 16th or on the day of the race. Sizes: Youth M and L and Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL. If you ARE NOT registered by September 15 there is NO GUARANTEE you will receive a shirt. We are selling older version of T-Shirts for $5 at the race. These are NOT included with your race entry fees.

TIMING Race will be timed by the Cave City Cross Country Team via Webscorer
