CCC Day Run-Paddle Duathlon
The Friends of Promised Land State Park are pleased to hold the inaugural CCC Day Run-Paddle Duathlon on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Promised Land State Park (PLSP). Athletes will run a 5k (3.1 miles) and then paddle for 1-mile in their kayak, SUP, or canoe. This is a timed "Fun Race" for adults only (age 18 and over).
Events:
- 5k Run with 1-mile Paddle Duathlon: $40 (before July 19), $50 (after July 19), 8:00AM EDT, 100 spots left. Registration opens May 23, 2025 at 12:01am EDT. Open to ages 18+.
- Event Shirt Only (no duathlon participation): $25, 10:00AM EDT. Registration opens May 23, 2025 at 4:45pm EDT.
Location: Day Use Area/Main Beach at Promised Land State Park
All participants registered by July 18 will receive an event t-shirt and finisher medal. All participants will receive free snacks and hydration. Online registration ends August 7 at midnight or when 100 participants are reached. No day-of registration.
