The Cedro Peak Trail Run features two distances: 50K and 25K. The picturesque race takes place in Cibola National Forest, where you will find beautiful single track and jeep dirt trails winding through ponderosa pine and pinon forests, scrub oak, and meadow areas. With stunning views of the Sandia and Manzano Mountains, participants can expect a mix of climbs, descents, and flatter sections that are very runnable.
The terrain ranges from smooth single track to technical rocky sections, providing a true trail running experience. This is the original ultra trail race in the East Mountain/Cibola National Forest, located just east of Albuquerque. The event has a long history, with many participants returning year after year.
Participation is limited to 300 runners with a waitlist available. Your entry includes:

- 25K: 8:00 AM
No refunds or rollovers are allowed. Transfers to a different distance in the same event year or to another runner are permitted with prior approval from the race director. The race director reserves the right to cancel the race due to adverse conditions.
These events cannot take place without volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the running community. Volunteers are eligible for reduced or free entry to a future Cedro Peak/Three Peaks Racing Event.
