About the Race
The Chain of Rocks Bridge is an iconic bridge on the famous Route 66. This 6K race starts and finishes at the foot of the Chain of Rocks Bridge on the Illinois side.
Why Participate?
Whether you are a competitive runner or new to running, this event is for everyone! Proceeds support the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation, dedicated to improving lives and fostering community through running.
2025 Race Beneficiary
We have selected the Jackie-Joyner Kersee Foundation as our official 2025 race beneficiary, pledging to donate $6,000 to support their mission.
Course Information
This is a fairly fast, undulating course with beautiful views of the Chain of Rocks Bridge and the Mississippi River. The race begins in the parking lot on the Illinois side and includes crossing the bridge into Missouri.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall men, women, and non-binary participants. Team competition is also available.
