Chernisky Ghost Town Trail-a-thon

The Chernisky Ghost Town Trail-a-thon is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025, along the scenic Ghost Town Trail. Here are some details:

Race Options

• Marathon: 26.2 miles, starting from Ebensburg, PA.
• 15-miler: 15 miles, starting from Nanty Glo, PA.
• 5k: 3.1 miles, out and back from Duman Lake County Park.
• Couch Potato 0.0k: A fun, non-competitive event where participants gather at the start line and celebrate!

Registration

Registration is open until September 20, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. Early registration discounts are available, and all pre-registered participants will receive a long sleeve shirt and a finisher's medal. Youth entries (ages 17 and under) are free thanks to the 1889 Foundation.

Amenities

You will find aid stations throughout the course, offering water, Gatorade, and fruits. Restroom facilities will be ADA compliant and located at various points. Post-race, all participants are invited to enjoy music and a meal at Duman Lake County Park.
