  The virtual race will be open to run from Dec. 13th - Dec. 20th.

Description: It's the most wonderful time of the year! Time to put on your ugliest sweater and join us on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 as Trinity Lutheran Ministries presents the CHRISTmas Ugly Sweater 5K. This year you have the option to run with us in person or virtually! The in person race will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13th at 9:00am. The virtual race will be open to run from Dec. 13th - Dec. 20th.

Why YOU should join us:

• We are using a new route and we are excited to have a newly paved road for the race!
• You will be filled with Christmas cheer as you enjoy a wonderland of music, photo booth and hot chocolate and cookies at the finish line!
• 20% of registration costs will go to support individuals in the community through Glen-Ed Food Pantry & Neighbors in Need
• This year we are offering the option of a long sleeved dry-fit shirt or a cotton t-shirt.
• A fun finisher medal and shirt are guaranteed to those who register by November 30th.
• Chip-timed and RaceJoy tracking available
• Post-Race sweater contests! (see entry rules below)
• Special group/family pricing to groups of 4 or more!
• An option to run in person on race day or virtually from anywhere you would like!

2025 Pricing:

• Early Registration $25 for t-shirt, $30 for dry-fit long sleeved shirt.
• Early Registration until Nov. 27th, $35 and $40
• Registration starting Dec. 3rd. Early Registration ends December 2nd. Prices increase $5.

In person 5K Awards: Plaques for Overall Male/Female and medals awarded to Top 3 in the following age categories: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, 75+

Virtual 5k Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top finisher in each age category.

Early Packet Pickup: 12/12/25 4:00pm - 6:30pm, Trinity Lutheran Ministries

Race Day Packet Pickup: 12/13/25, 8:00am-9:00am, Trinity Lutheran Ministries

Post-Race Sweater Contest: Gift card prizes awarded to those who enter our sweater contest! Awards for: Ugliest Sweater, Most Christmas Spirit, & Best Group Sweater Theme (group of 4 or more).
