Cindy's Challenge

Cindy's Challenge is a ride/run/walk fundraising event held on Saturday, August 20, 2025 in the beautiful coastal Kennebunkport, Maine area. This event is held in memory of local luminary, Cindy Weidner. Net proceeds from this event go to Caring Community Cuisine, a 501c(3) non-profit that focuses on family nutrition and human interaction to help those battling cancer by providing hand-delivered restaurant-quality meals so that families engaged in the fight against cancer can take a breath to share some quality time together over quality food. Event options include a ~5km run/walk, and 25, 40, and 62-mile cycling routes. Event start times are staggered such that participants will arrive at a beautiful coastal garden location at roughly the same time in order to celebrate their completion of the event over food and beverages, directly experiencing the kind of hospitality that Caring Community Cuisine brings to the community. All events will start at Caring Community Cuisine Cafe, located at 2 Pier Road, Kennebunkport, ME

• ~5K Run/Walk: $35.00
• 25-Mile Bike Ride: $50.00
• 40-Mile Bike Ride: $50.00
• 62-Mile Bike Ride (metric century): $50.00
