Cloudcroft Ugly Sweater 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

Event Details

Help bring in the holidays by joining us for the Inaugural Cloudcroft Ugly Sweater 5K & 1 Mile Walk on December 6th, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM. This event is open to all runners and walkers and is a great way to kick off the Christmas season. The event is limited to 100 participants.

The 5K registration includes an Ugly Sweater finisher's medal, a Christmas race bib, and a custom long-sleeve shirt. The 1 Mile walk registration includes an Ugly Sweater finisher's medal, a Christmas race bib, and a custom short-sleeve shirt.

Proceeds from this event will benefit local non-profits.

• 4:00 PM: 5K Run Start
• 4:05 PM: 1 Mile Walk Start
• 5:00 PM: Awards for Top 3 Male and Female 5K
• 5:30 PM: Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting

• Early Check-in: Friday, December 5th, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Cloudcroft Brewing Company, 1301 Burro Ave, Cloudcroft, NM 88317
• Saturday Check-in: Starts at 3:00 PM at the Cloudcroft Pavilion

Awards & Contests

Awards for the top male and female overall 5K, youngest runner (5K), and ugliest sweater contest.

What's Included

Ugly Christmas Sweater Medal, Custom Ugly Sweater long sleeve T-Shirt (5K) or Short Sleeve (1 Mile Walk), Christmas Race Bib, Candy Canes, Holiday goodies, Hot Chocolate Station, and Christmas cookies at the finish line.

• 5K Run: $40.00 (Nov 1 – Nov 30), $45.39 (Dec 1 – Dec 5), $56.21 (Dec 6 – Dec 6)
