Location: Cobscook Bay State Park Road (off South Edmunds Rd), Edmunds Twp, ME 04628

The Cobscook Backyard Ultra offers a unique endurance challenge with multiple event options:

• Solo Backyard 50k: Run 5km loops for 10 hours.
• 2/3 Person Backyard Relay 50k: Teams split the 50km distance.
• Solo Backyard 50 mile: Run 4.167-mile loops for 12 hours.
• 2/3 Person Backyard 50 mile: Teams split the 50-mile distance.

This event follows modified Backyard Ultra protocols. Participants start on the hour, completing a loop within that hour. If a participant is not at the start line on the hour, they are finished. The event concludes after 10 hours for the 50K and 12 hours for the 50-mile. The course is on vehicle-free park gravel roads.

Note: This is largely a Fatass style event with no aid stations, support, medals, or awards. Participants should bring their own supplies. A non-refundable donation of $15 is requested to cover park entrance fees and basic costs.
