Copper Wire Run 5k

The Copper Wire Run is returning! This event includes a 5k and a 1 mile fun run. The 5k race starts at 9:30AM EDT and ends at 11:00AM EDT. The 1 mile fun run starts at 9:00AM EDT and ends at 9:20AM EDT. This event is not timed.

Registration:

• 5K: $30 (price increases to $40 after October 1, 2025)
• 1 Mile Fun Run: $10

Registration is online only. Although all racers receive a shirt, shirt sizes are not guaranteed for sign-ups after September 22.

Race Packets: Runners may pick up bibs and shirts at the Copper Wire Run Tent in the Village Park on Friday, October 4, from 5 pm to 7 pm or Saturday before the Race from 7 am to 9 am.

Awards:

• 5K: Prize for the Top Male and Female Finisher; prizes for the Top Male and Female in each age group; and Top Team.
• All finishers get a medal.

Course: Offering one of Central New York's most scenic runs, the 5K (3.1 miles) certified course travels the village streets of Camden to the inspiring beauty of streams and tall pines in Forest Park. The course will be well-marked and staffed by volunteers at the one-mile split and water stations. The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will start and finish in the village park.
