Cowes Classic 2026 - Bass Coast Series - Race 2

Join the Cowes Classic 2026, the second race in the Bass Coast Series, featuring a 500m beach swim and a 4km road run. The event is a major fundraiser for the Phillip Island Football and Netball Club and the Woolamai Beach SLSC, with all proceeds supporting local community sporting clubs and surf life saving patrols.

Race Details:

• Swim: 500m tide assisted swim around the pier.
• Run: 4km run up Thompson Ave, down Chapel St towards Silverleaves, and back along the foreshore to the finish.
• Date & Time: Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm AEDT.
• Registration: Online registration only; strictly no walk-ins.
• Results: Presented at the North Pier hotel after the race.

Ticket Information:

• Early Bird (Aug 28 – Sept 30): $70.00 for Individual Competitor, $90.00 for Team Relay.
• Standard (Oct 1 – Jan 30): $75.00 for Individual Competitor, $100.00 for Team Relay.
• A $25 discount is applied to Early Bird and Standard pricing for ages 14-17.

Rules and Regulations:

• No extraneous aids (fins, boards, snorkels, flotation gear, personal support teams) are allowed.
• Wetsuits may be worn.
• Competitors must adhere to the marked course and wear an official race number and sponsor's swim cap.
• Transponders (timing bracelets) must be worn at all times; a $100 replacement charge applies for lost or unreturned transponders.
• Organizers reserve the right to accept, reject, and cancel entries.
• Unsportsmanlike behavior will result in disqualification.
