About the Event
Currahee Challenge 5K/10K
The Currahee Challenge takes place from the base of Currahee Mountain on the Colonel Robert Sink Trail. Come and join us for an excellent and challenging 5K run/walk or 10K hill run. PLEASE NOTE: the finish line will remain open until 11:30am.
Events:
- 5K Run/Walk: 8:00AM EDT, $30.00 (Price increases after September 13, 2025)
- 10K Run: 9:00AM EDT, $30.00 (Price increases after September 13, 2025)
Location: 2129 Ayersville Road, Currahee Mountain, Toccoa, GA 30577 US
Courses:
- 5K: Challenging uphill/downhill course on unpaved road. Turnaround is approximately halfway to the mountain top.
- 10K: Challenging uphill/downhill course on unpaved road. Last half mile before the top is especially steep. Turnaround is at the historic elevation marker.
Awards: Medals presented for both the 5K and 10K to overall male/female, masters male/female and top three in 10-year age groups.
