Cascadian Wilderness Endurance Series - 20 Miler
- Trail Run
- 32 km
The Cascadian Wilderness Endurance Series events present an exciting opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to participate in a multimedia adventure blogging contest. These self-supported/unsupported events are open to trail runners, backpackers, fastpackers, and hikers.
Participants must complete the defined route on foot and in one push, without any course markings or aid stations along the way. Choose to tackle the route solo or with friends; there are no cutoffs allowing participants to take their time.
Starting from the Fourth of July trailhead at the end of Forest Road 209, this loop features a few miles of off-trail route-finding and scrambling in the Antz and Four Lakes Basins. Participants can take a side trip to Lonesome Lake and enjoy great views of Castle Peak as they climb up and over Castle Divide.
Registration is $25.55, including taxes and fees, and a portion goes to trail maintenance organizations.
Join the CWES Facebook Group and/or follow the @CascadianWildernessEndurance Instagram to connect with others, ask questions, and gather trail information.
