Wonderland Circumnavigation 95 Miles, 3 Day Stage
- Running
- 153 km
The Cascadian Wilderness Endurance Series events present an exciting opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to participate in a multimedia adventure blogging contest. These self-supported/unsupported events are open to trail runners, backpackers, fastpackers, and hikers, featuring unique routes which participants must complete on foot in one push.
Unlike traditional endurance races, there are no course markings or aid stations, providing participants with the freedom to create their own adventure. You can tackle the route solo or with friends, and there are no cutoffs, so take as much time as you need to complete the route.
This route is the result of a happy failure when Kathy and a friend were attempting a Mt. Rainier circumambulation via the Wonderland Trail. After checking the maps, they realized they could create a beautiful loop back to their start by connecting various trails. The complete route includes Summerland Trail, Wonderland Trail, Cowlitz Divide Trail, Eastside Trail, and more.
Registration cost is $23.75 including taxes and fees. A portion of the fee supports trail maintenance organizations.
