Event Overview

The Cascadian Wilderness Endurance Series events present an exciting opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to participate in a multimedia adventure blog contest. These self-supported events are open to trail runners, backpackers, fastpackers, and hikers.

Each event features a defined route that participants must complete on foot and in one push. Unlike traditional endurance races, there are no course markings or aid stations along the way, providing participants with the freedom to create their own adventure.

Route Description

The route includes trails such as Monumental Creek Trail, Cougar Basin Trail, Big Creek Trail, and Lookout Mountain Ridge Trail. With stunning scenery and a distance of 50 miles, this route features approximately 7,200 ft of climbing, with most elevation gained in the last 20 miles. A shorter option of around 25 miles with 5,300 ft climbing is also available.

Registration Details

Registration for the 50 Miler and 25 Miler is $25.23, which supports trail maintenance and provides participants with patches and goodies.
