Get your bikes ready for a day of fun and adventure as we cycle through the beautiful countryside and scenic lakes Rabun, Seed and Burton. Ride Overview

Get your bikes ready for a day of fun, friendship, and fall adventure! Join us for the 13th Annual Lake Country Ride (LCR) as we roll out from Ingles Market and wind through the beautiful North Georgia countryside — past Lakes Rabun, Seed, and Burton, over German Mountain, and alongside vineyards bursting with color. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out, this event is for all levels. Enjoy the views, meet fellow cycling enthusiasts, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Ride Options

• 42 Miles – “The Classic” | Just under 4,000 ft of climbing
• 50 Miles – “The Persimmon Challenge” | 4,800 ft of climbing
• 58 Miles – “Charlie Mountain Loop” | 5,700 ft of climbing

Riders should be comfortable maintaining a 15+ mph average pace including climbs with regroup points along the way. NO DROP RIDE — we climb, regroup, and finish!

Gear & Tips

It may be chilly at the start — bring leg/arm warmers, vests, and jackets. You’ll shed layers as it warms up. Wear your Cycle Alpharetta kit for great photos by the lake! Download your route to your bike computer before the ride.

Post-Ride Celebration

We’ll finish back in Clayton at Currahee Brewery, where we’ll relax and refuel. Food can be ordered from nearby restaurants, perfect for recovery, laughter, and a cold brew with friends.
