About the Event
About the Race
This race was started in 2007 in memory of Damon Young, who passed away from kidney cancer at the age of 24. The event aims to raise money for a scholarship fund benefiting Tunkhannock High School seniors. The race will take place on the beloved trails of the Young's property.
Course Description
The course features dirt roads, fields, and trails with a common downhill start for all races. It traverses grass paths, dirt roads, and wooded trails, offering exciting climbs and scenic views.
Half Marathon
The Half Marathon is a two-lap event, following the 10K course. It includes climbing of about 1500-1700 ft. with fully stocked aid stations along the route.
2 Mile Fun Walk
Enjoy a casual walk on the 2-mile route without timing or awards—perfect for families with strollers!
Registration
Pre-registration ends on June 20, 2025, with same-day registration available. Prices vary by race distance.
Awards and After Party
Don’t miss the awards for top finishers and enjoy BBQ and pizza at the post-race gathering.
