Dark 2 Dawn Night Trail Races

Race Details

The Dark 2 Dawn Night Trail Races are presented by Terrain Trail Runners and take place at Indian Camp Creek Park in St. Charles County, MO. This event features an all-night trail run with options for a 10K, a 6-hour timed ultra, and a 9-hour timed ultra.

The race utilizes an approximate 6.7-mile loop course with a mix of open fields and wooded singletrack, featuring flat to rolling hills. The 10K is one loop, while the timed events challenge participants to complete as many loops as possible within their respective timeframes.

Important Notes:

• This is a cup-free event. Participants must bring their own hydration vessels and mess kits for post-race food.
• Onsite camping is available.
• Race day registration is available but swag is not guaranteed and is cash only.

Courses

• 10K: One loop on the 6.7-mile course.
• 6 Hours Timed Ultra: Complete as many loops as possible within 6 hours. Minimum 3 loops (20.1 miles) for finisher medal.
• 9 Hours Timed Ultra: Complete as many loops as possible within 9 hours. Minimum 4 loops (26.8 miles) for finisher medal.

• Start Times: 9:00 PM CT for 10K and 9-hour events; 12:01 AM CT on Sunday, June 28, 2026, for the 6-hour event.
• Check-in: Begins at 8:00 PM CT on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
• End Time: 6:00 AM CT on Sunday, June 28, 2026, for 9-hour and 10K events. 6-hour event ends at 6:00 AM CT on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
• Registration Closes: Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM CT.
• Swag Order Deadline: May 17, 2026.
