Description: DART (The Davidson Area Running Team) hosts this free event the second Saturday of every month! This is your chance to run a flat, fast, free 5K! Abersham Park has a lovely greenway that is a perfect 5k out-and-back.

Registration ends: July 12, 2025 at 8:59am EDT

Course: An out-and-back on the paved Abersham Greenway. Be aware that the greenway is not closed, so keep your eye out for other runners, as well as walkers and cyclists. Stay to the right as you run because you'll be passing other participants on your way out or back.

Parking: There are 27 parking spaces in the lower Abersham lot -- be sure to arrive early if you'd like to park here! There are two overflow locations: One at the upper lot near Shearer Road, and one at the end of Fisher Road in Fisher Farm Park. These are each about a mile from the start, which gives you a nice warm-up run before the event. You may also park on the one-way road next to the lower Abersham lot as long as you don't block through traffic. We don't recommend parking on the shoulder as you could get stuck!

Check-in: Please check in with our volunteers before the event to let them know you're participating. To save on costs, you will be assigned a number that you keep and use every time you participate.
