DART Abersham Free 5k

DART (The Davidson Area Running Team) hosts this free event the second Saturday of every month! This is your chance to run a flat, fast, free 5K! Abersham Park has a lovely greenway that is a perfect 5k out-and-back.

The Course

An out-and-back on the paved Abersham Greenway. Be aware that the greenway is not closed, so keep your eye out for other runners, as well as walkers and cyclists. Stay to the right as you run because you'll be passing other participants on your way out or back.

Parking / Check-in

There are 27 parking spaces in the lower Abersham lot. Overflow parking is available at the upper lot near Shearer Road, and at the end of Fisher Road in Fisher Farm Park (about a mile from the start). You may also park on the one-way road next to the lower Abersham lot as long as you don't block through traffic. Please check in with our volunteers before the event. You will be assigned a number that you keep and use every time you participate.
