Get ready for the “Day of the Dead Half Marathon: Parks Edition”! This 13.1-mile race takes you through stunning parks, celebrating life and tradition. The course weaves through lush landscapes, sparkling lakes, and towering trees. Aid stations will be available along the route. The event includes a lively post-race celebration with live music and Mexican treats.

Costume Contest: Embrace the spirit of Día de los Muertos with a creative costume contest before the race. The winner receives the “Day of the Dead Best Costume Award”.

Bigfoot Running Company events are known for awesome medals, cool tees, high energy staff, and a focus on participant experience. Live awards and Bigfoot Trophies will be presented. Snacks, refreshments, and music will be available at the race rally tent.

Pricing & Discounts:

• Youth-based pricing for the 5k & Quarter Marathon (12 & Under) is $15.
• Refer 5 others and receive a $20 refund.
• Special group discounts are available.

Race Distances Offered:

• Kids Dash: Approximately 20 yards, for kids 10 and under. Not timed.
• 1 Mile Run: For all ages and experience levels. Not chipped timed.
• 5K (3.11 miles): Chip timed, with awards for overall male/female, masters, and age groups.
• Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles): Chip timed, with awards for overall male/female, masters, and age groups.
• Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Chip timed, with awards for overall male/female, masters, and age groups.
• Volunteer then Run: Participate in any distance run after volunteering.
• Virtual Run: Participate remotely.

Event Schedule:

• 6:30-7:45am: Packet Pickup
• 7:55am: Kids Dash
• 8:00am: Race Start!

Results and Awards are live at the Registration tent immediately following your finish.

Volunteering: Full Race Volunteers (not running) can earn a race shirt, medal, VIP access, a FREE future race entry, or a $20 gift card.

Bigfoot races proceed rain or shine. Mixed course surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths) should be expected.
