Deer Dash 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

The 28th Annual Deer Dash is a 5k Chipped Race Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run. The 5K is a 3.1 mile run/walk around beautiful Monticello. The Fun Run is an out and back running on Eatonton Street.

• 1-Mile Run/Walk: $20.00, 7:30AM EDT. Registration ends October 28, 2025 at 4:00pm EDT
• Deer Dash 5K: $30.00, 8:00AM EDT. Registration ends October 28, 2025 at 4:00pm EDT
• Phantom Runner: $20.00, 7:30AM EDT. Registration ends October 28, 2025 at 4:00pm EDT

Combo Pricing: Register for both the Fun Run and 5K and receive a $10.00 discount.

T-Shirts: Available to all runners registering before October 13, 2025 at 4:00pm. A no-t-shirt option is available with a $10.00 discount. A $8.00 mailing fee applies for out-of-town Phantom Runners.

Early Packet Pickup: Available at the Monticello Chamber of Commerce starting at 1:00pm on Friday, October 31.

The 5K course is USATF Certified GA19017DJ

Awards

Fun Run: Awards given to Overall male and Overall female finishers 10 years old and younger. All Fun Runners receive a finisher's medal.
5K: Awards given to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and various age groups.

Race Series and Finishline Management: The Deer Dash 5K is part of the Black Bag Race Series. Timing provided by Classic Race Services.

What if it Rains? We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. No refunds due to inclement weather.
