Event details and schedule🎉 Join Us in Celebrating a Major Milestone, Demery Cox Turns 40! 🎉 Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 13, 2025, as we kick off Demery’s 40th birthday celebration in style! The festivities begin bright and early at 7:30 AM with a 2.0-mile and 4.0-mile run/walk at the Woodshed Smokehouse in Fort Worth. After crossing the finish line, stick around for the real party complete with a live DJ, margaritas, and brisket tacos! 🎶🌮🍹

🕒 Event Schedule

• 6:30 AM – Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration
• 7:30 AM – 2.0 & 4.0 Mile Run/Walk Start
• 8:00 AM – Post-Race Celebration Begins

💲 Registration Fees

• $30 – Through July 7
• $35 – Through July 12
• $40 – Race Day

📦 Race Perks All participants receive:

• Custom bib (with your name if registered by July 5)
• Margarita 🍸
• Brisket taco 🌮
• Additional refreshments

👕 T-Shirts Register by June 25 to guarantee a race shirt. Remaining shirts will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis after the 4.0-mile event starts.

⏱️ Timing & Awards

• Chip timing provided by Cox Racing Services
• Age group awards (Top 3 in 5-year age brackets) for the 4.0-mile race only
