The "Downtown Cartersville 5K" (and a 1K Fun Run) to support Backpack Buddies will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Get ready for a fantastic race day filled with excitement!

• 7:30 AM - Race Day Registration ends
• 7:58 AM - Wheelchair Race Start
• 8:00 AM - 5K Run/Walk Start
• 9:00 AM - 1K Fun Run Start
• 9:20 AM - Awards Ceremony

Course Information

This is a USATF-CERTIFIED 5K COURSE (#GA18034WC) that is also a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. The race starts and finishes in historic Downtown Cartersville, providing a scenic route that encircles the downtown area.

Fees:
5K: $30 (pre-race) or $40 (race day)
1K Fun Run: $20 (pre-race) or $30 (race day)
Registration closes on August 17, 2025, at 11:59 PM EDT.
