Dr. Sandra McCalla Gator Run
The 24th Annual Captain Shreve Gator Run 5k takes place on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at Lee Hedges Stadium - Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, LA. The 5k starts at 8:00 a.m. Registration opens August 27, 2025.
Events:
- 5k: $30 (until Nov 9th), $35 (Nov 10th-14th), $40 (race day)
- Sleep in Supporter: $30 (until Nov 15th)
Course Description: The 5K Race starts and finishes on the track of Lee Hedges Stadium and runs through the local neighborhood.
Packet Pickup: Every pre-registered participant will receive a race shirt. Register by midnight on November 5th to guarantee a shirt. Packets available at Sportspectrum: Thursday, November 13th (noon-6pm), Friday, November 14th (10am-5:30pm). Race day registration and packet pickup is Saturday morning from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at Lee Hedges Stadium.
Awards: Overall Male & Female cash awards. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place male & female in each age group (13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
Fun Post Party and Door Prizes: Stick around after the race for the awards ceremony.
