About the Event
Event Details
The Fairmont Sunset Mile is scheduled for Friday, June 6, 2025 at 7:00 PM EDT. Participants will gather at the top of Morgantown Avenue for a thrilling downhill race.
Race Information
Kids race occurs at 7:25 PM inside Palatine Park. Registration and bib pick-up will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the boat ramp near Palatine Park. There will be no shuttles between the start and finish lines; participants can park at Palatine Park or use street parking nearby.
Entry Fees
- One mile: $20 (first 100 participants receive a race day t-shirt)
- Kids 400: $5 (all participants receive a prize)

A PRIZE PURSE will be awarded to the Top 3 Women and Top 3 Men!
