FarOut 1000 Swim Meet

Welcome all swimmers to the FarOut 1000. This meet will be offering one event only, the 1000-yard Freestyle. We encourage our long-distance swimmers and triathletes from all US Masters Swimming Clubs to join us for a morning of peace, love, and swimming. The event is limited to 70 registrants so get signed up early!

Full Meet Details:

• Date: Sunday, January 25th, 2026
• Check-in: 7:45AM – 8:30AM
• Warm-up: 8:00AM – 9:00AM
• Meet starts: 9:00AM (may be pushed up 1 hour, participants will be notified 48 hours prior)

Location: Oak Point Recreational Center, 6000 Jupiter Rd, Plano, TX 75074

Eligibility: Open to all USMS registered participants, 18 years of age or older. One-day USMS event passes are available.

Entry Fee: $40 for USMS registered members ($45 after 12/31/2025). Non-USMS members pay an additional $20 for a one-event pass, totaling $60 ($65 after 12/31/2025).

Special Promotion: First meet free for registered North Texas LMSC members for 2026. Contact LMSC Chair for details.

Event: 1000-yard Freestyle (Mixed Gender)

Time Limit: Masters must be able to complete the 1000 Freestyle in 30 minutes or under.

Registration: ONLINE ONLY via https://FarOut1000.com. Limited to 70 entrants. Closes when capacity is reached or on Friday, January 23rd at midnight.

Awards: Themed awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in various age groups.

Concessions: Complimentary snacks, coffee, and concessions provided.
