Father's Day 5K (Walk, Bike, or Run)

Event Details:

The Father's Day 5K takes place on a scenic course during the beginning of summer here in the Pacific Northwest. It starts on the East Puyallup Foothills Trailhead, near the parking area, and goes through the cool paved foothills trail for 1.7 miles before returning to the start point.

• There is one road crossing and one fun trail rail crossing on the route that rarely sees a very slow train.
• Pre/post-race music will keep participants motivated to finish.
• This is not a competitive race and may not be officially timed.

Race Day Schedule:

• Packet Pick Up: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
• Remarks and Instructions: 9:45 AM
• Race Begins: 10:00 AM

Order of Line Up: Runners first, Bikers, Walkers.

Parking is available in the lot by the start, at VanLierop Parking, and next to the trail across from Farm 12. Dress for the day's weather, wear sunscreen, and take along shades. There is a single restroom at the trailhead, and Safeway is less than a 1/2 mile away.

This is a 5k, which is 3.2 miles in total: 1.7 miles out and 1.7 miles back to the start. Enjoy!
