Ferris Fifty

Nestled at the foot of the Carson Range of the Sierra Nevada, Carson Valley was home to the inventor of the Ferris Wheel, George Washington Gale Ferris. We honor that legacy of ingenuity and grit with this event.

Course Info

Participants can expect a mix of dirt, gravel, sand, and pavement. The course will be patrolled to ensure your safety. Weather is typical of late fall in northern Nevada.

• 50M Course: 7 Aid Stations at Mile 7, Mile 13, Mile 19, Mile 26, Mile 32.5, Mile 39, Mile 44
• 50K Course: 4 Aid Stations at Mile 7, Mile 13, Mile 21, Mile 26
• 15K Course: 3 Aid Stations at Mile 3, Mile 5, Mile 7

Race Details

Race check-in: Friday, November 7, 2025, from 12 pm – 7:00 pm at TJ’s Corral at the Carson Valley Inn.

Finish and Festival Area

Celebrate at TJ’s Corral with music, food trucks, drinks, and vendor booths. Finishers receive various prizes depending on distance.

All registrations are non-refundable. Withdrawals may receive a 75% credit toward the following year's registration, under certain conditions.
