1K Santa Kids Dash

• Start: 8:10 AM
• Price: $10 by December 1, $12 by December 13, $15 Race Day
• Untimed, for Youth 12 and under. Finishers receive a Santa Hat.

5K Run/Walk

• Start: 8:30 AM
• Price: $30 by December 1, $35 by December 13, $40 Race Day
• Timed event with finisher's medal for participants.

Event Benefits

Race the Region has partnered with the Chesterton Fire Department for the Toys for Tots campaign. The first 250 registered participants that donate a toy(s) (minimum value $20) will receive one SANTA HAT during early packet pick-up or Race Day packet pick-up.

Registration and Packet Pick Up

Online Registration: Required for all participants, available until 8:25 a.m. on race day.

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up:
Dates: Friday, December 12 from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday, December 13 from 10 AM to 5 PM

Onsite Packet Pick Up on Race Day:
Starts: 7 AM until 8:25 AM

Course Information & Awards

Perks: Early Registration (by November 26, 2024) for shirt selection. 5K Timed Run/Walk Participants receive a finisher's medal. Toy Donation participants receive a Santa Hat. Non-Timed Kids Dash Participants receive a Santa Hat.

Event Features: Timing mats at the Starting Line and Chip Timing for Finish Results. Live results via text and email messaging. Directional signs at all turns. No processing fee for online signup. Finisher photo and video.

Awards: Custom awards, including miniature Festivus Poles for Top Overall Male/Female, Top Masters Male/Female, and Top 3 in various age groups.

The race course will remain open for 1 hour and 15 minutes from the official start.
