Fitness NOW Turkey Trot

Fitness NOW is hosting this event to help support one of our founding values as a business - "Connect Community". We believe in the support of others and, like we tell our fitness classes, surrounding yourself with people who have like vision, is one key to success!

We will have clearly marked 5k and 10k courses, for all fitness levels...walk, jog, or go out there and win! Also registration will include a Turkey Trot shirt (if registered by deadline)!

In addition to getting out and moving your bodies before you feast on Thanksgiving, your sponsorship/registration also helps support the “Shop with a Cop” event. They raise money throughout the year to take underprivileged children shopping at Christmas time. There are over 30 Jefferson County First Responder Agencies that take part in the two days of shopping. Last year they shopped for over 550 kids and they each got $150 to spend at Walmart. They shop for kids, grades K-6, from schools in all 11 school districts located in Jefferson County.

Packet Pickup Information

Packets can be picked up at Fitness NOW Studio ( 407 W Main St ) at the following days and times:

• Tuesday, November 25th - 3:30pm-7:30pm
• Wednesday, November 26th- 11am-1pm
• Thursday, November 27th - 7am-7:45am

Awards

Awards will be given out to the following groups:

• 5K - Top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 and over.
• 10K - Top 1 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 and over.
