The Rotary Club of Forest Lake will be hosting its 8th Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, November 27th, 2025. A portion of the proceeds from this 5K/1 Mile Fun Run will go towards food support for family's in the Forest Lake community. Runners of all levels, walkers, parents with kids in strollers, and leashed dogs are all welcome!*

Adult Entry is $30, and Students (Ages 7-18) are $18. UltraSignup website fees will be added at checkout (See below for further information). Children 6 and under are free of charge!

We are offering race timing again this year! We have switched to UltraSignup, one of the leading platforms for races in the US, for our Turkey Trot registration and integrated race timing. Create an UltraSignup account to receive your race results, compare your time with others, and find other races to participate in! In addition to the registration charge, UltraSignup does charge a service fee to each registrant for the use of the site. The approximate service fee charge on an Adult Runner is $4.87 and for a Student Runner it is $3.93. *If your dog does not do well with other dogs, large groups of people, children, or loud noise, please consider leaving them at home. We would like everyone, including our furry friends, to have a safe and enjoyable event.

Turkey Trot 2025 Check In Information

Check In will take place at the Forest Lake City Center (1408 Lake St S, Forest Lake, MN 55025), with the run taking place on the Hardwood Creek Trail behind the building. You need to check in prior to the race in order to receive your number bib and Turkey Trot stocking cap. Registration will open at 8:15 a.m. with the 5K starting at 9:00 a.m. and the Fun Run shortly after.

Cancellation/Refund Information

Due to the costs involved in setting up and holding a race, which are incurred before race day, there are no refunds. Entries may not be transferred to another runner, deferred to another year, or applied to another event. Thank you for your understanding.

If COVID-19 and/or other conditions force the event to be shut down, the races will be changed to virtual events. If this happens, race shirts and race numbers will be available for pick up on Thanksgiving morning at the Forest Lake City Center. Another day/time to pick up items may be considered if the cancellation is due to weather. You will be contacted via email if this happens.
