Join us for the 18th annual Kiwanis BUG Chase! All proceeds benefit the Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis BUG (Bring Up Grades) program at multiple schools, designed to provide recognition to local elementary students who raise their grades to an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next, and other local club sponsored youth service projects.

Important Details:

• Race day registrations begins at 7:30 a.m.
• Race day packet pick up will take place from 7:30 a.m.-8:15 a.m.
• Race time is 8:30 a.m.
• Short sleeve t-shirt in performance material guaranteed to the first 200 registered
• Overall age group awards to be presented
• No shirts or packets will be held after race day for pick up
• Register by 12/5/2025 to guarantee shirt size
• Runner registration is capped at 400 registrations
• Parking inside the nature center lot is limited to those that are handicapped and race volunteers. Parking is available at the Lee Health Facility across from the nature center.
• This event will be timed with chip tag technology.
• We are happy to offer both adult AND youth registration options for our race.

What You Will Receive: The first 200 runners will receive a short sleeve T-shirt in a performance material. To ensure your sizing, please register by 12/5/2025. No shirts will be held after race day for pick up.

Awards: Overall Awards (Gun Time): M&F Overall, M&F Masters 40 & over, M&F Grandmasters 50 & over, M&F Senior Grandmasters 60 & over. Age Group Awards (Chip Time): 1st-3rd place male and female 9-under, 10-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Strictly Prohibited: Unregistered participants, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, roller blades, skates, skateboards, strollers and pets are strictly prohibited. Baby joggers are allowed but participants must start and remain at the back of the runners/walkers.

Heat Warning: Temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluid (non-alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race.
