Join us for a Chico Running Club tradition our New Year’s Day 5k!
When: January 1, 2026 at 9:00am
Where: Bidwell Park, Sycamore Field near Caper Acres (Google Map)
What: Free New Year’s 5k on the official City of Chico Bidwell Park Course
Start the New Year right with CRC’s New Year’s Day 5k run, with our race timing clock running for those of you who want a challenge on the first day of the year! It’s a Chico tradition! This is a free event, race bibs will not be assigned.
Food: We’ll have free refreshments- coffee, hot chocolate, donuts post race and CRC gear for purchase.
Prizes: will be given to the top finishers.
Donations: The race is free and everyone is welcome! Donations to CRC are much appreciated! Help us celebrate our 50th year! You can donate via RunSignUp or on our website Donations Page
