Brave the cold and join the Clearfield YMCA for our annual Freeze Your Gizzard 5K, a beloved Winterfest tradition! This fun and frosty race brings runners and walkers alike together to celebrate the season with some chilly outdoor adventure. The course winds through Clearfield’s scenic Parker Dam State Park, offering brisk excitement. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, starting a new tradition, or just shaking off the winter blues, this 5K is the perfect way to kick off Winterfest 2026! Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. The race begins and ends at the Parker Dam beach house, where warm refreshments, friendly faces, and plenty of Winterfest festivities await when you cross the finish line. Fun prizes will be awarded for things like best costume, oldest runner, least amount of clothing, etc. Bundle up, lace up, and come out to freeze your gizzard!
