Description

RUN THE RECHARGE where the Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon dinosaurs once roamed on the trails of Government Canyon State Natural Area! This is your opportunity to run amongst the footsteps of giants! We hope you will join us in-person, but we offer a virtual option as well for those who can’t make the race in-person or live outside of San Antonio, TX. Sign up and help support one of Texas’ largest natural areas.

In-Person Race

• Saturday, November 1, 2025
• 15K Race starts at 7:30am, 8K starts at 7:45am.
• Parking at Folks Middle School. Buses run from 6:15am-7:35am and 9am-11:45pm.
• Chip timed. Awards for Top 3 Male/Female and Top 3 Masters Male/Female (50+). Finishers medal.
• Post-race celebration at the Picnic Pavilion.

Virtual Run Details

• Run or walk from any location.
• Submit results via your RunSignUp account.
• Packets mailed to virtual participants on or before Monday, November 3, 2025.

In-Person Packet Pick Up

• Friday, November 1st, 4pm-7pm: iRun Texas - Dominion, 22211 IH 10, Suite 1107, San Antonio, TX 78256
• Saturday, November 2nd, 6:15am-7:30am: Government Canyon State Natural Area, Picnic Pavilion

PLEASE NOTE: No dogs or strollers allowed. This is a CUPLESS race—please carry a hydration device. In the event of rain or trail closures, the race will be run on the paved roads.
