The Frog Hop 5K is a long standing early Spring tradition at Sandy Creek Nature Center. Race is run on the North Oconee Greenway starting at Sandy Creek Nature Center. Kids in the 1 Mile Run receive a medal and treats! Proceeds to to benefit the ongoing programs at Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Course

The 5K course is an out and back along the Oconee River Greenway, starting at Sandy Creek Nature Center, running to College Ave, turning around and coming back to the finish line. Course is USATF Certified GA17023DJ

Awards

Unique awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups: 5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over

Fun Runners will receive a medal and a goodie bag!

Race Series and Finishline Management - The Frog Hop 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and the Clover Glove Race Series. Finishline management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.

What if it Rains? We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
